Special Occasion Silhouettes

Full-length silhouette portraits usually begin with a regular silhouette sitting, working from life.  This is the best way to capture a good likeness, especially with very young children.  The freehand-cut silhouettes are used, together with photography, as reference material for the finished art.

This commission piece was designed to reflect the motion and pose of the sculptural cake topper.  It was used on the wedding invitations.
